Working closely with Auto Trader we helped them to develop their new discovery search functionality. A needs based search that helps the uninitiated zero in on a new car that is just right for them. The new functionality complemented the more direct search methods already available - meaning the first stage of finding a car on Auto Trader was truly driven by you. To raise awareness and stimulate desire over the busy Christmas period our national TV campaign then focussed on the different ways people search for their perfect car.

Our broadcast TV campaign explored the emotions associated with discovery and the journey to finding a car that is right for you through AutoTrader.
Different ways to search
Video on demand was used to expand the story online by focusing on two characters from the TV storyline. Each story was targeted at either confident or unconfident buyers - meaning that each key audience was aware of the functionality that helped them get the most from Auto Trader.
