National Cheeseburger Day is the cheesiest day of the year for burger fans. We made a play to own the social conversation by amplifying an online trend of recreating awkward and cheesy family photos. The social engagement drove record numbers of fans to download the McD’s app for their chance at a free cheeseburger by submitting their cheesiest photos for the ‘extra cheese’ treatment.
